Our Heritage

Choy Lay Fut 蔡李佛

Choy Lay Fut is a traditional Chinese martial arts system with a history spanning more than 150 years.

Known for its powerful movements, dynamic footwork, traditional weapons, and distinctive techniques, Choy Lay Fut provides the martial arts foundation behind our lion and dragon dance training.

Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu was officially included on China’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2008, recognizing its historical and cultural importance.

For our team, martial arts and lion dance are not separate traditions.

The strength, balance, footwork, coordination, discipline, and spirit developed through Kung Fu are carried directly into every performance.

TODAY
Continuing the Legacy

Under Master Wilson Ng, the team continues to train young practitioners and perform throughout New York City and the Tri-State area.
